Experienced technical team member provides a critical role for rapidly growing electronics assembly equipment manufacturer.
Newman Lake, WA (April 30, 2024) – Hentec Industries/RPS Automation, a leading manufacturer of selective soldering, lead tinning and solderability test equipment, is pleased to announce the newest addition to its team, Heath Richards, who joins the company as a Field Service Engineer. Richards brings a unique skill set that will significantly contribute to the ability of Hentec/RPS to continue to deliver high-quality products to its valued worldwide customers. As a Field Service Engineer, Richards will be responsible for a variety of critical tasks, including equipment installations, customer training, and system upgrades for our Vector and Valence selective soldering systems, Odyssey lead tinning systems, and solderability testing systems. Prior to joining Hentec/RPS, Richards served as Ski Lift and Gondola mechanic at Silver Mountain in Idaho. During his time in the ski industry, Richards frequently helped troubleshoot electrical issues with lift control circuits and implement solutions while monitoring and maintaining mechanical systems. Richards is a graduate of the University of Wyoming, where he studied Mechanical Engineering and classical viola. “We are confident Heath will assist our customers with the same excellent level of service and support our customers have come to expect from Hentec/RPS”, said Reid Henry, President of Hentec Industries/RPS Automation.
