Photon and Pulsar work together to validate that components will solder reliably after storage — critical for high-reliability, military, and aerospace applications where components may sit for months or years before assembly. Both systems are CE and RoHS compliant and built in Newman Lake, Washington.

Dip & Look Solderability Test System
Runs the dip-and-look test — components are immersed in flux and molten solder, then evaluated by comparative analysis to confirm solderability. Table-top system with PID temperature control and multi-axis motion; can be configured with a 2nd solder station for lead and lead-free testing MIL-STD-883 Method 2003, IPC J-STD-002, MIL-STD-202 Method 208

Typical pairing: components are aged in the Photon first, then dip-tested in the Pulsar — together they provide full compliance with IPC, ANSI, and MIL solderability test standards in one qualification workflow.
