Precision Test Solutions orders Hentec Industries/RPS Photon Steam Aging System and Pulsar Solderability Tester
About the Machines – The Pulsar system utilizes the proven dip-and-look test method – a qualitative technique in which samples are immersed in a flux and molten solder bath, followed by comparative analysis of the results. This technique is user-friendly and requires less capital investment than a wetting balance system. This system fully complies with all relevant industry standards, including MIL-STD-883 Method 2003, MIL-STD-202 Method 208, and IPC J-STD-002. The Photon system is used for accelerated life testing – achieved by subjecting the components to a heated, moisture-rich environment, simulating elongated storage conditions. Designed to meet military and high-reliability requirements, it offers multiple configuration options and supports concurrent testing of different product types. The Photon Steam Aging system fully complies with all relevant industry standards, including the MIL-STD-202 Method 208 and ANSI-J.
