Our Story
From the beginning Robotic Process Systems Automation operated successfully delivering automated robotic soldering equipment to a global client base. In the 1990’s, the company was the first to introduce selective soldering to North America, and from there selective soldering became the company’s primary expertise and passion. From 2001 to 2006, the company sold their selective soldering systems under an exclusive private label partnership with Tyco. That relationship yielded tremendous business growth, with new clients from around the globe. In 2007, the CEO and the CFO, led an investment group that purchased Robotic Process Systems Automation, and re branded the company as RPS Automation, LLC. As a result of the investment, RPS received capital and management to help the company continue its growth. In 2015, RPS Automation, LLC was bought-out by one of its own engineers, Reid Henry. The business currently operates under the co-branded name Hentec Industries / RPS Automation. Hentec/RPS continues to develop, manufacture, and market its products and services to a global customer base while being independently owned and operated. As always, Hentec /RPS is managed for long-term growth and profitability through a dedication to excellent customer service, prudent future investments, and the continued advancement of cutting-edge selective soldering, lead tinning, and solderability technologies.
