Newman Lake, WA (November 21, 2023) – Hentec Industries/RPS Automation, a leading manufacturer of selective soldering, lead tinning and solderability test equipment, is pleased to announce that Geospace Technologies has finalized the purchase of Hentec/RPS Vector 460 and Vector 600 selective soldering systems. The Vector 460 is a lead-free compatible selective soldering system that features an integrated computer with unlimited program storage, integrated system software, witness camera and auto fiducial correction. The Vector 600 offers the same unique operating characteristics but can accommodate PCBs up to 24”x 24”. Both systems are available in either standalone or SMEMA in-line configurations, the Vector system is offered with topside preheat, spray or drop-jet fluxer, dual flux nozzles, and custom or wave solder nozzles. Both Vector systems are UL and CE compliant and carry both a two-year system warranty and a four-year solder pot warranty.
