Newman Lake, WA (March 19, 2024) – Hentec Industries/RPS Automation, a leading manufacturer of selective soldering, lead tinning, and solderability test equipment, is pleased to announce that Silicon Forest Electronics has finalized the purchase of a Hentec/RPS Vector 600 selective soldering system. The Vector 600 is a lead-free compatible selective soldering system that features an integrated computer with unlimited program storage, integrated system software, witness camera and auto fiducial correction. The Vector 600 offers the same unique operating characteristics as all Vector systems and can accommodate PCBs up to 24” x 24”. The Vector 600 system is available in either standalone or SMEMA in-line configurations, the Vector system is available with topside preheat, spray or drop-jet fluxer, dual flux nozzles, and custom or wave solder nozzles. All Vector systems are UL and CE compliant and carry both a two-year system warranty and a four-year solder pot warranty.
